Obtaining Clearances
There are three clearances required for all volunteers who come in contact with youth or children.
- PA Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse History Certification
- DHS Fingerprint Based FBI Criminal History Background Check.
- If you have been a resident of Pennsylvania for the entirety of the last ten years, you can sign a waiver in place of this clearance.
- If you have not been a resident of Pennsylvania for the entirety of the last ten years, but have already received a DHS FBI Background, you can turn in your prior certification along with a signed waiver.

DHS Fingerprint Based FBI Criminal History Background Check
If you have:
- Been a resident of Pennsylvania for the entirety of the last ten years.
- You can sign this waiver and either email it to clearances@crossroadsministries.com or bring it to the church office.
What do I do after I received the results?
Email clearances@crossroadsministries.com with PDF copies of your results or bring paper copies to the church office.
