COVID19 Update

March 13, 2020

Dear Crossroads Family,

In these circumstances we desire to operate with faith and wisdom instead of fear.

In John 14:27 we read these powerful and comforting words from Jesus “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Therefore, let us not fear, but let us be the hands and feet of Jesus at this time.

Here at Crossroads, we are watching the developing circumstances with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We are seeking the Lord as this situation develops. Our prayers are for peace and that we would all draw near to the peace giver, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are continuing to pray for all that have been impacted by this virus and are asking the Lord to bring a quick end to this virus.

This weekend, our services will continue at their normal scheduled times at the church. However, we would like to encourage you to take advantage of our services online as well. We know that there are many uncertainties regarding the coronavirus, and we are thankful that we can stream our services live.

We will stream live Sunday at 9:30 am and 11:00 am.

Click below to view our online service.

Either way, we are going to lift Jesus up on high.

We are taking the necessary precautions to disinfect our facilities. I wanted to outline for you a few of the things that we are doing here at our church facilities and what you can do as preventive measures.

Our cleaning team has taken the time to do a thorough cleaning and sanitization of our facility.

Further, we will sanitize highly touched surfaces before and after each service.

Our children’s ministries do a great job every week of sanitizing the toys the children play with, we will insure that after each gathering a fresh set of sanitized toys will be used. All surfaces in the children’s ministry area will be sanitized before, between, and after each gathering.

Our staff and volunteer teams will wash their hands frequently and thoroughly. They will stay home if they are sick. There will be hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the church available for you to use.

We will not practice our normal Meet and Greet during the service to avoid physical contact. We will also not be passing the friendship folders during this time.

We will not be passing the offering plates from person to person during this time, however, the offering will be received by the ushers as they hold onto the plate in order to minimize physical contact. Offering boxes are available at the back of the auditorium and lobby. If you prefer to give online, visit for a secure giving option.

Please wash your hands and refrain from touching your face. This is the most effective way to stay healthy.

If you are sick, please stay home and join us online. The health and safety our people is our number one concern. If someone in your household is sick with a fever/cough, consider staying home as well.

We encourage our older congregants and people with chronic medical conditions to stay home as they are the most vulnerable to the virus.

Our 9:30 am and 11:00 am service will be broadcasted live on our website

We will continue to keep our congregation updated and informed via the following:

As we strive to understand this outbreak may we be drawn to have confidence in God’s constant presence and not the chaos that this virus produces. I am praying for our church family that he will allow you to experience His peace at this time, and that God will allow you to be the hands and feet of Jesus as opportunities arise to share the peace of God with others. Let us also pray for those who have been affected by this virus as well of those in our communities seeking to serve and provide aid.

Isaiah 41:10

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

In Christ,
